Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc. Expands Management Team

South Beloit, IL August 29, 2012 Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc. (AES), a leader in the design and manufacture of custom automation and quality solutions for specialized manufacturing needs announce the addition of Brian Brunson as Vice President of Operations and Technology and Charles A. Berget as Senior Financial Analyst. The addition to the management team will provide AES with industry experience needed to help navigate the continuous growth and workload of the company.

The recent addition to the management team brings critical manufacturing, engineering and management experience to AES, said AES founder CEO John Stewart. Brian and Charles will play key roles by improving our operational efficiency while also ensuring continued growth for the company.

George Messina, AES¡ Chairman stated AES has survived a very difficult economic time period since 2008 and has experienced double digit growth these past 2 years. It was imperative that we begin to strengthen the company¡ management team in order to successfully manage the growth. The addition of Brian and Chuck which took place in June, 2012 has already begun to demonstrate the wisdom behind this decision.

Mr. Brunson has managed organizations with both low and high volume products over the last 21 years which included logic controllers, printed circuit board manufacturing, machine shop, sheet metal fabrication, data acquisition systems, and scientific liquid handling products and software. Prior to joining AES, Mr. Brunson served as Senior Manufacturing Manager at Gilson, Inc. He has experience in using the LEAN 3P New Product Development process and leading an ISO 9000 Quality Management System. He currently holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification along with a track record of delivering LEAN projects with significant cost savings in office, sales, order fulfillment, enterprise resource planning software use and manufacturing processes.

Mr. Berget has more than 25 years of accounting experience in large manufacturing companies. Prior to joining AES, Mr. Berget spent five years at ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer NA, Inc. where he served as Senior Financial Analyst. He brings with him a solid background in budgeting, cost variance analysis, project and financial reporting, and capital project justifications. Charles has undergraduate degrees in both finance and accounting, and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc. Receives Largest Order in Company History for Ammunition Loading Machines

Advanced Engineered Systems, Inc. (AES), a leader in design and manufacture of custom automation equipment and robot systems integration announced a new contract to design and manufacture eight high speed ammunition loading systems for a leading global defense company.

AES’s high speed ammunition loading systems will assemble a variety of rifle caliber rounds for military and police applications. Each system will assemble rounds at a speed of 250 parts per minute and are based off AES’s second generation high speed loading systems. The project is set for completion by early 2013.
